Safety Systems Installer: Working at Height

Mantech Safety Systems Limited is a privately owned, independent company providing all-inclusive provision for safe-working at height and industry related access solutions. As a result of continued growth and expansion we are looking to recruit additional safety systems installers to join our experienced team. Please note: For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities and Duties

Working as part of an installation team of two or more persons, you will install permanent access equipment. This will include Fall restraint and Fall arrest systems, Access Ladders, Platforms, Walkway Systems, Handrail systems Anchors and Safety Eyebolts. The role will require traveling to and from destinations all over the UK with regular overnight stays required. Full training will be available.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Essential:
    • Physically fit
    • Confident to work at height
    • Full clean driving license
    • Team player: Able to follow instruction, guidance & to co-operate within a team
    • Self-motivated individual, capable of working on your own initiative
    • Ability to communicate at all levels
    • Accurate reporting & recording of site specific data
    • Literate, numerate & IT proficient
    • Conscientious, thorough, trustworthy & reliable
    • Possess a high level of attention to detail
    • Punctual: good time management skills
    • Flexibility: to complete duties & tasks in a timely manner
    • A desire for further personal development.
  • Preferred but not essential:
    • CSCS
    • Harness & Lanyard Trained
    • WAH Trained
    • Experience: working at height
    • IPAF
    • PASMA
    • Manual handling
    • Proficient in the use of power and hand tools.

Transferable skills will be considered. 

Occupational, site specific training can be provided for suitable candidates.

Benefits

Package includes: a competitive salary, annual holiday entitlement of 28 days which is inclusive of recognised public holidays with incentives in place for performance, unsociable hours and overtime.

Remuneration Rate:

Site Supervisor: From £30,000 per annum negotiable subject to experience.
Site Operative: £22,000 - £26,000 per annum subject to experience.
